Theeeese are the pictures from 2...maybe 3?...weekends ago when I went to Lake Champion aka my faaav! Ahh. It's just like, the coolest place in the world. :)
OKAY SO here's my Wednesday:
I babysit until like 2:30 and come home pretty exhausted but I promised my friend that I'd go to this place and try pistachio cheesecake with him, so I call him up and he picks me up at 3:15 and we get to the place and they DON'T EVEN HAVE IT ANYMORE. I was immensely disappointed buuut I get a spinach&feta crepe, which was not as good as it sounds, but whatever. And we're having a good old time, eating crepes and whatnot, and then there was a pause in conversation so I checked my phone and...I had 9 missed calls. 4 from my mom, 5 from my dad. If you've ever been in this situation...you know my panic. Also my parents both texted me saying "call me asap" and "CALL ME NOW!!!" So I'm freaking out because no less than 20 minutes ago, I was home, and what possibly could have happened between 3:15 and 3:35? I call my mom and I'm like, what the heck, and shes' like, "you need to come home NOW, nothing bad has happened but you need to BE HOME RIGHT NOW." So naturally, I spend the entire 5 minute car ride to my house assuming the worst: My grandmother died, my brother got in an accident on the way home from Florida, my dog died, a scarecrow apocalypse, etc, etc. Soooo I get home, incredibly apologetic for having to leave my friend so abruptly, and while going up my walkway, I see an unfamiliar silhouette through my window, and the only thing I can think is, it's someone from the nursing home, my grandmother has died.
Au contraire, though, because when I open my door, I literally stop in my tracks and stand speechless because my friend Kevin is SITTING IN MY LIVING ROOM! Obviously that is meaningless to all of you Piczo readers, but Kevin is like my best friend who moved to Virginia whom I haven't seen since July. AKA BEST SURPRISE EVER :)
